Dutch Manufacturing Output Rebounds in October
Manufacturing production in the Netherlands rose 0.2% month-over-month in October 2025, rebounding from a revised 0.3% fall in September. Output increased for leather and shoes (3.2% vs -0.9% in September), paper (6.7% vs -5.7%), graphics (-2.8% vs 2.8%), petroleum (17.4% vs -14.1%), rubber and plastics (1% vs -0.8%), and basic metals (2.4% vs -0.4%). Production also recovered for other transportation equipment (1.4% vs -1.8%) and metal products (1.1% vs -0.4%), while growth rose further for electrical equipment (13.4% vs 5.8%). On the other hand, output grew at a softer pace for textiles (1.8% vs 3%), wood (1.1% vs 2.6%), and pharmaceuticals (2.8% vs 11.1%). On a yearly basis, manufacturing activity increased 1.9%, easing from 2.4% growth in September.
